Venue Operations & Event Staff (Seasonal)

Harvest, AL

June 2023 - August 2024

  • Acted as the sole employee at weddings, ensuring the venue remained clean and orderly throughout events by regularly checking and restocking trashcans and restrooms, cleaning spills, and bussing tables

  • Supported brides without planners by helping with timeline flow, fluffing wedding dresses, and securing valuable items at the end of the night

  • Set up major event decor, including draping, chairs, tables, and linens, and served as the point person for "flipping" the venue between ceremonies and receptions

  • Ensured guest compliance with venue rules and standards, maintaining a welcoming yet professional atmosphere

Fundraising Event Coordinator

Auburn, AL

August 2022 - December 2023

•    Planned and executed two annual Chili Dinner fundraising events
•    Designed and implemented a comprehensive Google spreadsheet planning guide
•    Oversaw the entire event lifecycle from conceptualization to completion, including vendor acquisition and promotional efforts
•    Directed a team of 36 volunteers to promote seamless event execution
•    Constructed detailed timelines, items lists, food costing, layout plans, and volunteer assignments

•    Assisted Wedding Planner with client planning calls, day-of coordination, and event setup/breakdown
•    Orchestrated a high-budget wedding reception for 226 guests, successfully handling different personalities
•    Adapted to last-minute solo wedding coordination with unexpected weather and multiple room flips 
•    Collaborated in the creation of event decor, such as crafting seating charts and floral arrangements 
•    Managed vendor coordination for 6 weddings, ensuring timely arrivals, confirming deliverables, and maintaining adherence to the wedding day timeline
